I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Technical Architect for the ......

I do not have any ongoing projects which can be completed in two weeks. I would like my resignation to be effective ASAP.  Please let me know how much time you need for this transition.

Thank you for the opportunities for professional and personal development that you have provided me during the last year. I have enjoyed working for the ...... and appreciate the support provided me during my tenure with the company.

А почему нельзя написать так:

I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Technical Architect for the ...... I would like my resignation to be effective ASAP.
Thank you for the opportunities for professional and personal development that you have provided me during the last year. I have enjoyed working for the ...... and appreciate the support provided me during my tenure with the company.

Если ты собираешься уходить как можно скорее, то какая разница, есть ли у тебя проекты, которые ты можешь закончить или нет? И если они тебе скажут, что им нужно 4 недели на транзишн, ты же у них не останешься лишние 4 недели? Так зачем же огород городить?
