That is not true either. There is a very low property tax for the long-time residents. That incentive, in turn, makes it harder to modernize the houses and infrastructure. Which results in Internet infrastructure quality lagging behind.

It's a rich state, with pretty high sales taxes, with a lot of rich companies; the problem is, they waste money on all kinds of bullshit. Schools management instead of teachers. Prisons. High-speed railway, which turns out to be not so high-speed, but much higher price. Etc. Internets is not the state business, it's the companies that are probably being overcharged for doing business here.

В Коннектикуте (да и вообще в прибрежных городах North-East of the US) - проблемы с инфраструктурой похожи на проблемы в Silicon Valley. В результате, качество интернета низковатое, хотя и приемлемое.
сгоняй к ним в сервис-центр, смени роутер и вероятно тебе сделают бесплатно или за + 10 в месяц втрое быстрее DL и в полтора раза быстрее UL У меня сейчас 194 DL/ 35 UL. По вечерам, когда весь народ в округе лезет на ютюб и нетфликс скорость падает примерно в полтора раза, но видео смотреть с инета это не мешает. Сейчас я плачу 75 баксов за интернет.
