 The police force of the once-glittering Mexican resort town of Acapulco has been disarmed as authorities investigate claims that local cops have strong ties to warring drug cartels in the region.

Мексика - одна из самых криминальных стран мира. Не вполне понимаю, что заставляет людей ездить туда отдыхать, а уж тем более - жить там.

Отдыхать - в курортных зонах тихо.Жить - на любителя...

Жить там невозможно. Гринго не очень любят. Несколько недель назад мои друзья там были, так человека прямо в ресторане убили.

Freedom in Mexico? Apparently, I messed up my calendar and did not realese that today is the April first.

Mexico has gun laws worse then Jersey ones, can you imagine gun laws worse then ours in NJ?
There are more friendly Latino girls in Highsttown then in any big city of Mexico, I may agree about opportunities since one of them was exercised. (sarcasm).

I meant there are all kinds of opportunities not every opportunity is necessarily.... safe. Some folks believe in risk/benefit analysis, some are way off wih their estimates.
