Продолжение (окончание?) истории воровства цветов с клумбы в моем сабдивижине.

Сосед поставил кaмеру наблюдения и заснял воровку. Ею оказалась душевнобольная женщина из соседнего сабдивижена.

Looks like they came back for a third-round. There is now only one begonia plant left. It happened sometime between noon and 3 p.m. Please post if you saw anything during this time. It is the Timberlane sign at the Egmont Drive entrance (the first entrance).

I have reported this information to the police.

I have security cameras at my house and I know who stole the plants. I went over to her house knocked on the door and told her to give the plants back which she did. She went right in the back of her house got the plants and brought him back to us.

Hi Jay, for what it's worth, I know her and I can offer that she had a stroke that impacts her life profoundly. I'm sure it wasn't aimed at you personally. If anything else were to happen, let us know and maybe our neighborhood group can help sort it out.

Tell your neighbor to stop stealing, period. She hit our bed 3 separate times. She can stroke out in jail.

Thank you for that background and it is very unfortunate to hear about the health issues. If this is a case of lacking the ability to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong that is a problem (and slightly unsettling - where will it escalate to next?). Society has certain minimum thresholds that need to be met, and if those thresholds can't be met there are places to help and assist people. If someone continues to break the law, that place will eventually end up as jail. If that isn't where they belong then I surely hope someone reaches out to help in a way that is appropriate before further laws are broken.

В мире полно разных идиотов, некоторые уродились, другие в результате к-л событий. Не чувствую себя в положении как-то отвечать на вопрос, что делать в их случае. Не удивлюсь, если есть соотв. чарити, куда люди жертвуют деньги и которые таким людям как-то помогают и т.д.

Но чувствую себя в положении предотвращать акции находящиеся ниже предела допустимых в обществе, поэтому, за свои цветы я бы её и в полицию сдал. Мне важно, чтобы цветы не воровали.

…больного человека надо лечить, но это дорого… значит легче его судить и заставить родных оплатить ущерб… платить родные будут до тех пор пока не решат проблему с уходом за больным человеком...

Не факт, что родные есть.

...она что homeless? ...у нее наследники есть? ...суд с этим должен разобраться...судья знает как поступать в таких случаях...

Живет в доме одна. Есть ли родственники или наследники не знаю.
Суд - это в крайнем случае.

Ей надо жить там, где воровать нечего: в каком-нибудь бедном районе снимать комнату.

Тюрьма или госпиталь - это очень дорого.
