В чём американцам не откажешь, так это в умении придумывать благозвучные осмысленные аббревиатуры, всякие SAFE, RAISE, ASTRA и проч.

А в России всякие ГБУЗ МКНЦ ДЗМ, ФГБУ «НЦЭСМП», ГИБДД, ЦНИИСиЧЛХ и проч.
